Head of Retention

Work Format: On-site, Remote, Hybrid

Location: Europe


Requirements:

  • Experience in customer retention or CRM at Senior/Head level, preferably with experience launching new projects (gambling or related industries)

  • Deep understanding of customer behavior in online casinos, including Tier 1 European market specifics

  • Proficiency with analytical tools and CRM platforms (e.g., Customer.IO, Optimove, Salesforce, HubSpot)

  • Proven experience in developing loyalty programs and VIP initiatives from scratch

  • Strong analytical skills and a track record of building effective data-driven processes

  • Leadership qualities and the ability to inspire a team to achieve high performance

  • Advanced level of English (additional languages are a plus)

  • Ability to thrive in a startup environment requiring flexibility, initiative, and strategic thinking


Responsibilities:

  • Develop a retention strategy from scratch, including loyalty programs, VIP initiatives, and promotional mechanics

  • Design and implement a CRM system, selecting the appropriate tools and technologies for personalization and customer experience management

  • Create user segmentations for personalized campaigns aimed at reducing churn and increasing LTV

  • Manage multichannel communication with customers (email, push notifications, SMS, in-app), including the structure and content of campaigns

  • Develop bonus policies and related promotional campaigns to enhance player engagement

  • Continuously analyze user data and develop A/B tests to improve key metrics (Retention Rate, ARPU, LTV)

  • Build and grow a team of retention managers (as the project scales) and collaborate with other departments (product, marketing, affiliates)

  • Monitor competitors and adapt best practices to our casino

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements applicable to retention on Tier 1 European markets
